Although you may join our classes at any time, please register early as class sizes are limited. Registering at least three weeks before the semester begins also ensures that your At Home materials will be available for collection at your first class. If you enrol after the semster begins, tuition can be pro-rated accordingly.

Your completed and signed enrolment form, accompanied by the materials/holding deposit, reserves your place in a particular class. You will receive confirmation of enrolment by telephone, email or mail. If in the event the class you have chosen is full, we will call you to discuss other alternatives.

The remaining tuition fee is due at the beginning of the semester in lesson 1. Alternatively, if you choose a payment plan, instalments are due in weeks 1 and 4.

We take VisaCard and MasterCard in the studio, online or over the phone. Cash, bank transfer, money orders and cheques are also accepted.

Twin, Triplet and Second Child Discounts

Kindermusik with Andrea Crosswell gives discounts for twins and triplets and children from the same family in the SAME class. The second child receives a 25% discount on tuition fees with the 3rd child receiving a massive 50% discount off tuition. Sibling packs are available at a reduced rate.

Cancellation

Tuition refunds or credit towards future classes may be given if there are extenuating circumstances requiring withdrawal from class. All refund requests will be considered on an individual basis. Home materials are not able to be refunded once received.

Choosing a Program

The age recommendations for the Kindermusik programs have been carefully chosen to best group children in an age and developmentally appropriate way. Therefore, it is important that your child be at least the minimum age by the start of the program in which you are enrolling. Please note that these ages are guidelines only and each child is assessed individually to determine where they would be best suited.

Information and Policies

Making the Most of Kindermusik Classes

Plan to arrive about 5 – 10 minutes early for class. Arriving a little before class provides time for your child to settle in to the musical environment as they prepare to enjoy exploring instruments, reading books, or listening to music.
We do request that toys, drinks and dummies be kept out of sight, and that snacks be finished prior to class. Be sure to dress comfortably and remove shoes before sitting down to join the class.

During the class, the most important thing you can do for your child is to be an active and patient role model. It is not uncommon for a child to attend several classes before feeling comfortable in class. Don’t be discouraged – what a child is absorbing in class is often evidenced in the home environment rather than in a certain level of participation in class.
The understanding and consistency of the parent or cargiver in class and at home are key to facilitating musical learning and growth.

You and your child will benifit enormously from the Kindermusik experience, especially if you make active use of your At Home Materials. Frequent reinforcement at home through the week makes all the difference in a child’s comfort and participation in the classroom.

Make–up Classes

Classes will be made up in the event of teacher illness. I will notify you of cancellation and the scheduled make up date. We are happy to allow students who miss a class to make up that class. Simply call in advance to schedule another time.

Public Holidays and Pupil Free Days

Kindermusik with Andrea Crosswell does not hold any classes on Public Holidays but we do teach on Pupil Free days.

Grandparents and Visiting Others

Grandparents, Mums, Dads, etc. that don't usually attend class are welcome to come into the classroom at any time. We welcome family members into the classroom as it enhances the Kindermusik experience.
